On Wednesday,May 15,2024, Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) received a boost of Ksh. 25 million from Airtel Kenya in order to curb the ongoing flooding in the country.

Speaking after the donation process at the Kenya Red Cross Headquarters in South C-Nairobi,Airtel Kenya CEO-Ashish Malhotra and Airtel Money Kenya-MD, Anne Kinuthia Otieno stated that the supportive ideology will continue between the two organizations for long lasting solutions.
In a statement,the Kenya Red Cross Society-Secretary General-Idris Ahmed on the other hand appreciated Airtel Kenya for strong effort towards flooding solutions across Kenyan counties.

According to an article published by Nation Media Group,Riva Petroleum is fully owned by the family of the founder businessman-Peter Njeru Njagi.
Business Journey and Expansion
Engineer-Peter Njeru Njagi successfully borrowed a loan worth Ksh. 45,000 from Ufundi Cooperative Sacco by then in order to start his outlined business.
At the market premises,he started selling hardware tools and within a period of three years, he saved Ksh. 8 Million making advancement for the next level.
“I needed bank loan of Ksh. 6 Million in order to buy stock and vehicles for the business,but I didn’t much security and had no previous experience in the industry”, Peter Njeru told KCB venture Magazine.

The business grew at a promising momentum,the turnover business profit clinched in the first year making Ksh. 60 Million and second year jumped to Ksh. 800 Million.

Peter Njeru Njagi successfully attended the University of Nairobi and graduated in 1984 with a bachelor of science degree in engineering.
He probably proceeded to Egerton University where he acquired a Masters degree in Business Administration specializing in Finance option.
His career journey began at the ministry of Roads and Highway engineer,a position he held for a period of 20 years.

On Sunday,April 21,morning hours East African Time,a military plane carrying the body of the late Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General-Francis Ogolla landed at the Kisumu International Airport ready for the burial at his rural home in Ng’iya,Siaya County.

The final journey (burial ceremony) of CDF General-Francis Ogolla showcased simple and colourful send-off at the Obama K’ogello Primary school.
After the send-off religious mass, a procession will lead the General’s body to Mor Village, where he will be laid to rest.

The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Helicopter Carrying Chief of Defence-Francis Ogola and other security officials on Thursday,April 18 at around 2:20 pm East African Time crashed and bursts into flames in Elgeyo Marakwet leaving Five people dead and others seriously injured.

The incident happened at Kaben area-Endo ward in Elgeyo Marakwet went down and burst into flames shortly after taking off from Cheptulel Boys Secondary school.
Earlier,reports gathered by NTV Kenya indicated that the authorities have confirmed the loss of Five officers on spot, while other three sustained serious injuries.
