Switch Media,Boma College and KCB Foundation Signs Partnership Agreement

On Monday,April 22,2024 at Boma Inn in South C-Nairobi-Kenya,Switch Media,Boma International Hospitality College and Kenya Comercial Bank Foundation entered into agreement to empower Youth and women in Kenya’s hospitality and digital media sector.

Speaking after the signing of the agreement,the director of Switch Media and Boma International Hospitality College-Abbas Gullet said that it is time to advance educational backgrounds in hospitality and digital media space.

“Our collaboration aims to significantly expand educational and employment access opportunities by providing the right and adaptive skills for today’s evolving economy”, Switch Media and Boma International Hospitality College Director-Abbas Gullet said in a statement.

The signed mission will be achieved through funded training for upskilling talent in hospitality or media as well as offering MSMEs in the same spaces access to memberships,incubations and boot camps.

The three parties (Switch Media,Boma International Hospitality College and KCB Foundation) promised to work together in order to achieve SDG goal 4 (quality education) and goal 8 (decent work and economic growth) by implementing a dual vocational apprenticeship approach and the recognition of prior learning framework designed by award-winning research.
